Thomas received his Bachelors in Engineering Physics from the University of Tulsa, where he was a Presidential Scholar. He is currently working on his Ph.D. in Physics at the University of New Mexico. He is a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and also works part-time at Sandia National Laboratories.
